Candidates for the European Parliament : lobbied on behalf of children with cerebral palsy.

Buddy Bear was introduced to the hopeful MEPs at a function organised by the Northern Media Group.

We are delighted to be able to raise the case of parity of treatment and equality of opportunity with the candidates.  It is important that the needs of children with special needs are kept on the Agenda.
 
We hope to involve all the MEPS from Ireland in having this matter of parity of treatment raised at the highest level. Children in the UK and in many European Countries have the opportunity of receiving conductive education for cerebral palsy.  The Assembly recommended that Buddy Bear School should receive support and funds.  We must work to convince the Decision makers in N.Ireland to respect the resolution of the Assembly.
