Zara works hard every day to try to overcome the crippling effects of cerebral palsy.

Conductive Education was introduced to the UK by the UK Gouvernment in 1989. Zara's parents and other parents dont understand why it is not available as an option in Northern Ireland as part of the State Education System.

Zara's mother simply wants to give her daughter every opportunity to achieve her potential.

Zara's parents would like the education board to officialy place their daughter in the Buddy Bear School.

Zara has been attending the school on a part time basis for almost three years and has not received any support from the Education Board.

Would it not be better to give Zara the chance in accordance to the wishes of her parents rather than for the State

to have to provide numerous wheel chairs and a variety of seats and standing frames ?

Lets hope that Zara will be given a chance to learn to walk rather than to live a life in a wheelchair.

Buddy Bear wishes to give Zara and other children with cerebral palsy a chance to be as independent as possible.

You would want the same.
